Bunion (Hallux Valgus)

When your great toe has a protruding bump at the base on the inside of the foot, it is known as a bunion (hallux valgus). Your great toe will shift toward the other toes as a result of a change in foot alignment.

When your great toe rubs against your second toe or when the bump presses on your shoe, it may hurt. Additionally, a misaligned great toe can occasionally cause pain in the ball of the foot.

Hallux Rigidus

Hallux rigidus 2

Hallux rigidus or great toe arthritis usually presents with great toe joint range of motion in patients. Limitation of joint movement in the great toe creates a complaint according to the shoes worn by the patient during walking. Especially when wearing sharp, narrow shoes or wearing hard shoes, the limitation of movement in the great toe causes pain more specifically.

One of the biggest problems in the great-toe arthritis or hallux rigidus, apart from the limitation of movement and pain, is the protrusion in the great toe.

Ankle Problems

Ankle sprains

Ankle sprains are one of the most common problems in orthopedics. We divide the problems caused by ankle sprain in patients as acute and chronic. In the acute period, loss of function develops in patients due to swelling and pain in the ankle. In this period, we produce solutions for the complaints of the patients with various protection measures and physical therapy methods.

Ankle arthritis usually occurs post traumatically. Complaints such as limited joint movement, swelling in the joint, difficulty in movement and decrease in walking distance, which occur due to advanced cartilage loss after ankle fracture fifteen years ago, are in the foreground in people with this disorder.
