What is Heel Pain?
Heel pain is the pain felt in the front, back or bottom of the heel. It is a type of pain that is usually experienced in only one foot. A heel pain increases over time. Heel pain intensifies in the morning. Standing on your feet for a long time worsens the pain. It is more likely to be experienced between the ages of 40 and 70.
What are the Causes of Heel Pain?

Heel Spur: It is a condition where sharp, stabbing pain is felt as a result of excessive pressure on the heel.
Tendon Inflammation: There is pain extending from the front of the heel to the bottom of the foot. It occurs as a result of choosing the wrong footwear.
Sac Inflammation (Bursitis): It occurs as a result of a heavy impact on the heel. An improvement can be achieved as a result of choosing the right insoles.
Achilles Tendon Inflammation: It is a disease caused by shortening of the leg muscles or as a result of the shoe squeezing the heel.
Plantar Fasciitis: Plantar fasciitis is a heel membrane disease.
Heel Pain Treatment Methods:
If you feel any heel pain, you should consult a doctor immediately. Generally, the first treatment method is drug therapy. The treatment used in very large injuries is the surgery. Drugs preferred in treatment: aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs. One of the first things to do when heel pain is felt is to use orthopedic insoles or to wear orthopedic shoes. The foot should be rested for a long time. Ice treatment can be applied to the foot when the pain is intense. Ice treatment will be effective in reducing pain. Necessary exercises should be done to strengthen the ankle. Excessive exercise can worsen the condition.
